The Minister’s Volunteering Award for Outstanding Service for 2019, now in its sixth year, is awarded to a community member for outstanding volunteer service to the school community – as nominated by members of the Governing Council.

The recipients of the award were announced at our recent Annual General Meeting last Monday evening and presented to Alice Hilberdink and Katrina Manuel.

Many of you would know both Alice and Katrina who manage the second-hand uniform shop. Alice and Katrina are visible and present each week in the shop and around the school, helping out in a multitude of ways including community events such as mothers / fathers day stalls, discos, quiz night and school photos.

Alice and Katrina are two parents who happily volunteer their time to support the school, for which we are very grateful.

Special acknowledgement to all parents and friends all volunteered to support the school throughout 2019.

The Minister’s Volunteering Award for Outstanding Service plaque is positioned inside the front administration area, displaying the names of past recipients.

Congratulations and thank you, Alice and Katrina.
